Utah moved to the Big 12 in 2024 and runs one of the more distinctive NIL operations in the league. The Crimson Collective drew national attention in 2023 by leasing new trucks to every scholarship football player, an early example of a collective compensating an entire roster rather than a few stars. That roster wide philosophy still marks the program's posture. Under the 2025 House settlement, Utah can now share revenue directly with athletes, about 20.5 million dollars in year one with annual increases, which shifts much of the compensation burden from donors to the athletic department. Published individual valuations for Utes players remain uncommon, so most figures are estimates rather than reported deals.
