Arizona moved from the Pac-12 to the Big 12 in 2024 and fields both a power-conference football program and one of the sport's traditional men's basketball brands, so its NIL spending has historically tilted toward basketball more than at most football schools. Donor support has flowed through the Friends of Wilbur and Wilma collective, and the Tucson market is modest, so larger deals often come from national rather than local brands. Under the 2025 House settlement, Arizona can share revenue directly with athletes, about $20.5 million across the department in year one and growing annually, split among football, basketball and other sports. Third-party NIL deals remain separate from that cap, and few individual Wildcat figures are publicly disclosed.
