TCU Horned Frogs NIL valuations

TCU's NIL operation moved in house earlier than most. The Horned Frogs' outside collective folded on July 31, 2025, with athlete payments now flowing through the athletic department under the House settlement's revenue sharing system, which allows roughly 20.5 million dollars in direct payments in its first year and more after that. TCU competes in the Big 12, where it won the league and reached the national title game in 2022, but its public NIL market is quiet: a 2026 roster review found no published valuations for current players, and the program has lost talent to bigger spenders, including quarterback Josh Hoover, who transferred to Indiana on a reported 2.5 million dollar deal.
