Texas operates at the very top of the NIL market. The Longhorns moved to the SEC in 2024 with the largest athletic budget in college sports, and the Texas One Fund collective organizes booster backed deals for athletes across sports. Quarterback Arch Manning is widely reported to carry the highest NIL valuation of any college athlete, and the program regularly places players near the top of published valuation rankings. Under the 2025 House settlement, Texas can also share revenue directly with athletes, about 20.5 million dollars in the first year and growing annually. Few programs combine brand, market size, and donor capacity the way Texas does, in football and well beyond it.
