South Carolina Gamecocks NIL valuations

South Carolina operates a broad NIL market for an SEC program because its success is spread across sports. Garnet Trust, the primary collective, supports football alongside a women's basketball program that Dawn Staley has built into a national brand, giving Gamecocks athletes outside football some of the most visible NIL platforms in college sports. Since the 2025 House settlement, the athletic department can also share revenue directly with athletes, about 20.5 million dollars across all sports in year one and increasing each season, with collective and commercial deals layered on top. Football still draws the largest share of the money, but South Carolina is one of the schools where women's sports meaningfully shape the NIL picture.
