Vanderbilt Commodores NIL valuations

Vanderbilt is the SEC's smallest school and its NIL market has historically trailed the league, but that picture is changing. A 2026 roster review found published valuations for only one of the twenty most prominent football players, so most Commodores figures are modeled. The notable exception is quarterback Jared Curtis, a true freshman whose reported compensation of around 2 million dollars was among the largest ever attached to a player yet to take a college snap, a sign of new donor willingness in Nashville. Under the 2025 House settlement, Vanderbilt can share revenue directly with athletes, up to roughly 20.5 million dollars in year one and rising, the same cap as every SEC rival despite its smaller fanbase.
