St. John's Red Storm NIL valuations

4 athletes · Big East · estimated ranges as of August 2026

St. John's is a Big East program with no FBS football, so its NIL economy is built almost entirely around men's basketball. Under Rick Pitino the Red Storm won the Big East regular season and tournament titles in 2025 and rebuilt the roster through the transfer portal, supported by fundraising that billionaire alumnus Mike Repole has publicly backed and matched. Reporting has placed the basketball NIL budget in the mid seven figures, among the largest in the sport. The 2025 House settlement also lets schools pay athletes directly, up to roughly 20.5 million dollars in year one, and a school without major college football can point far more of that cap at basketball than a typical power conference athletic department.
